It’s probably the hottest day of the summer and I did some work for Nan and went to visit my friend Maryann to help her with some odds and ends around the house.

It’s been a crazy week for both the teenager and I so I thought it would be fun to post some of our recent summer meals.

The teenager made homemade gourmet fries with garlic parmesan sauce. We also had burgers.

Fish sandwiches with homemade tartar and broccoli bean fries
Spam sandwiches with pickle, Doritos and farm fresh corn

Takeout Wednesday: General Tao’s Tofu
We had chicken with vodka sauce and spaghetti. I put some leftover chicken on a sprouted everything bagel with Italian cheeses
